"Attempted delivery" means you actually attempt it. Worst mail service ever. Losing parcels, failing to deliver, failing to pick up from the outgoing box for WEEKS?! Incredibly unreliable.
If you can't fit packages in your vehicle or don't want to deliver,don't put attempted delivery. Put unable to deliver, please pick up at post office. Yacolt mail person is VERY unreliable.
They will say they "attempted" to deliver a package when someone is home all day and never saw any car come up our driveway. Worst mail service I ever dealt with. The only person I care to talk to is the younger man that is there Saturday for package pick up. Most staff treat you like you are wasting their time when their courier didn't bother to even try to deliver. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
We get a lot of notices where they say no secure location. There are literally no neighbors I can see from my house, the whole porch is a secure location. Very disappointed when expecting a package and then it never gets delivered.
They are always leaving mail in the wrong box I'm either giving my neighbors their mail or they are giving me our mail. I just went up there one of many times I was suppose to have 3 things delivered yesterday the 24 I received 3 emails saying packages delivered at mail box when I check only 1 was there. I went up the 25 when they opened and asked I let him see the 2 emails that said delivered and went back to check with the driver I couldn't really hear them and came back out and said they would check later today. Now why if for some reason they could have been left in someone else's box but didn't have time to check. You would think with 2 people up there and I'm 2 mins away they would run up there and check just in case someone grabs them today. They need to be held responsible for this happening last time it happened and I didn't get my package the place that sent the package said it was delivered to us and couldn't do anything. Now why go out of my way paying for it to be send with a tracking when then don't back that up. Do I really have to have to pay for a mailbox at the post office to make sure I receive my things. Or better yet just stop using USP and pay a little extra to make sure we get out things. Because bottom line that tracking we pay for doesn't mean anything. Those people up there need to care more if it wasn't for all the mail we get out here they wouldn't have a job. I really hope I get my 2 packages today. And I wouldn't have left this message if this wasn't something that happens all the time. Now let's hope I get my packages today so I don't have to go any further then just leaving this post about our lovely post office that don't really give a damn about our mail just their paychecks.
